Elsbeth and Michael Hallam founded Hugs Children’s Cancer Charity in 2015 after their son’s cancer diagnosis. They knew more could be done for families in the Southwest and for the last 11 years has worked tirelessly on providing peer to peer support to other parents given the devastating childhood cancer diagnosis. They opened a respite home for families to go too and in their 10th year opened a wellness hub, providing mental health support.
